FireMon Selected as 2023 SC Awards Finalist

Lenexa, KS, May 25th: FireMon, the leading network security policy management company that brings visibility, control, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, today announced that FireMon Security Manager has been recognized as a 2023 SC Award finalist in the Trust Award category for Best Risk and Policy Management Solution. Now in its 26th year, the SC Awards program is cybersecurity’s most prestigious and competitive program, recognizing the solutions, organizations, and people driving innovation and success in information security.

FireMon Security Manager is a comprehensive firewall and hybrid cloud network security policy management platform that helps organizations quickly adapt to change, manage risk, and meet compliance standards. By standardizing and consolidating firewall, cloud security group, and other network policy device rulesets into a single management console, Security Manager gives network teams visibility and control over even the most complex hybrid networks with ease.

“The expansion of enterprise networks, combined with migration to cloud services, adds to the complexities of effectively managing network security policies,” said Jody Brazil, CEO and founder of FireMon. “Lurking within the environment are firewall and cloud network security policies that are outdated, no longer needed, incorrectly set up, or simply permit access to users and services that should be locked out. FireMon Security Manager assists customers in managing network security policy more effectively in existing data centers while enabling secure cloud adoption. We are honored to have our product again recognized as a finalist with the SC Awards.”

“Both the strategies and technologies embodied by our entrants captured the exceptional innovation of the cybersecurity sector this year,” said Tom Spring, SC Media’s editorial director at CyberRisk Alliance. “Entrants represented our industry’s top-tier products, individuals, and firms. This year’s list of finalists reflects both the robustness and agility of solutions used by network defenders to protect assets within an always shifting threat landscape.”

Winners will be announced during SC Awards week, scheduled to begin on August 21, 2023.
