FireMon Sees 40 Percent New Business Growth in EMEA, Continues to Bolster Investment in the Region

New appointments and strong year-on-year financial growth provide further impetus for the organisation to focus on securing the cloud in the region.

Overland Park, KS, USA, June 21, 2022 – FireMon, the leading network security policy management company that brings visibility, control, agility, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, has announced that it had its best-ever quarter in the region following the release of its Q1 2022 results. It will also strengthen its cloud security offering for companies across EMEA looking to future-proof their digital environments by improving their security outcomes.

As FireMon accelerates its transition to becoming cloud-first, it has experienced unprecedented growth as continuous enhancements to its solutions help customers better secure their public cloud infrastructure. The EMEA region presents the organisation with significant potential to expand its footprint.

Co-founder and CEO Jody Brazil will be attending the upcoming InfoSecurity Europe, the largest cybersecurity event for the information security community across EMEA, to be held in London from June 21st through June 23rd. FireMon will be exhibiting at stand E80, and Jody will be presenting
“Simple Does Scale: Automating Security Fundamentals” on June 22nd, from 11:20- 11:45 AM.

The company has seen 40 percent new business growth in EMEA and has significantly expanded client bookings over the first quarter. FireMon also hit 150 percent of its EMEA deal registration target for the period.

Brian Massey, FireMon Vice President of Sales for EMEA, commented, “FireMon is having one of its best years yet across EMEA. We are in a very exciting stage of growth and product development. The company has grown immeasurably since I joined last year, strengthening our partner and customer relationships, and reaching new geographies. Digital businesses should not have to choose between innovation, speed, and security. With FireMon, organisations no longer need to make these tradeoffs. Our team has worked incredibly hard to improve security outcomes by delivering sophisticated security operations at scale.”

“Cloud adoption has grown tremendously across the region, and as more businesses rely on the cloud than ever before, it is imperative they achieve seamless security – at scale. However, with misconfigurations still the leading cause of network breaches, simple human error at scale is no longer a simple problem. The work FireMon has done to align with the right industry partners across the cloud is paying dividends now as we inject more robust cloud security automation capabilities into our security management platform to deliver the security operations environment of the future,” said Brazil.

Expanded product offering

Since Brazil’s return to FireMon following the company acquiring DisruptOps, a pioneer in cloud security operations, in September last year, the organisation has introduced more than 200 product enhancements.

Amongst these, FireMon has introduced support for the VMware NSX-T virtualized network security platform for global hybrid storage environments, and A10 Thunder and Lighting application delivery controllers (ADCs). FireMon expanded support for Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Zscaler along with 70 plus additional enhancements.

These enhancements continuously assist customers in automating time-consuming and error-prone manual processes. By doing so, FireMon helps customers eliminate misconfiguration errors, which often result in unplanned downtime, potential compliance violations, and even increasing security exposure in a cloud-driven environment.

Furthermore, several FireMon solutions have been certified and made available in the ServiceNow Store. This highlights the rigorous testing that FireMon solutions completed on the Now Platform regarding security, compatibility, performance, and integration interoperability.

Beyond that, FireMon has expanded support for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to reinforce its commitment to securing cloud real estate. It is about providing customers with the peace of mind that their environments are set up correctly and safeguarded against sophisticated cyberattacks.
