FireMon Applications Now Certified in the ServiceNow App Store

Enterprise Customers Can Dramatically Improve Security Efficiency, Responsiveness, and Visibility by Integrating Network Security Workflows with ServiceNow

Overland Park, KS | September 21, 2021 | – FireMon, the leading network security policy management company that brings visibility, control, agility, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, today announced that FireMon Policy Planner and FireMon Lumeta applications are now available in the ServiceNow Store.

FireMon Policy Planner’s change request functionality allows ServiceNow customers to automate change requests on their firewall and eliminate delays during the change control process request from ServiceNow. Using the application, a user can easily create a firewall change request from ServiceNow. A scoped application listed in the ServiceNow Store will be available for customers to download, install, and communicate with their FireMon Policy Planner application to access policy planner functionality fully.

FireMon Lumeta is a real-time visibility, vulnerability, and cybersecurity risk management solution that enables cloud, network, and security teams to find and secure unknown, rogue, and shadow clouds, network infrastructure, and endpoints. Using Lumeta, customers can eliminate 100% of their infrastructure and device blind spots and monitor changes or unusual behaviors to eliminate any gaps in coverage that may leave them exposed.

“Response time and process efficiency is top of mind for every security team today,” said Tim Woods, VP of Technology Alliances at FireMon. “By integrating their security processes with the ServiceNow application our customers can move faster, improve their risk posture, and stay ahead of the evolving challenges of security and compliance.”

Certification by ServiceNow is only granted to Apps available in the ServiceNow Store and signifies that FireMon Policy Planner’s change request functionality and FireMon Lumeta have successfully completed a series of tests surrounding Now Platform® security, compatibility, performance, and integration interoperability. The certification also reflects that ServiceNow best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of FireMon.
