On behalf of FireMon, IANS conducted a Return on Security (ROS) analysis of FireMon’s Security Manager. IANS combined data from interviews with two FireMon customers – a healthcare organization and an MSSP – in addition to average customer deployment data.

The Return on Security

The ROS for Security Manager is relatively simple to justify based on its usefulness and the ability to reduce manual tasks. The result is a total return that is a sum of the objective, infrastructure, risk and agility returns. IANS conservative estimate is a total return of nearly $900,000 over a three year period for an average customer with 45 firewalls.

Overall, IANS found that Security Manager creates a more efficient and focused security team, allowing the team to be more effective in its mission, at a cost substantially less than the benefits derived. Download this report to learn more.
