Jody Brazil developed the first product for FireMon in 2001 following a phone call from a flustered client whose network was down due to an incorrect change to the firewall. That moment inspired his mantra “Better security through more effective management.” Now as Chief Product Strategist, Jody lives and breathes his mantra, leveraging deep domain expertise in network security design, assessment and implementation to create new products that make security more effective and more efficient for the enterprise.
Paul Calatayud guides the practical application of FireMon’s strategic product vision. A former CISO, Paul has 16 years of experience in information security and risk management that he leverages as a liaison for customers, interpreting current trends, challenges and solutions to meet their unique needs. He sits on numerous industry boards, holds an instructor position with the SANS Institute and frequently presents at industry conferences, including the Gartner Security Summit, Palo Alto Networks Ignite and the RSA Conference.
Michael Callahan leads the global marketing team and is responsible for maintaining FireMon’s leadership position in the security management market. His focus on differentiating the FireMon solutions can be seen in the overall customer experience, the enablement of our sales and partner teams, our strong bookings growth and industry-leading customer satisfaction scores. Michael has successful leadership experience in companies large and small with senior experience in corporate, product and field marketing, product management, system engineering and sales.
Matt Dean leads the FireMon Product Management team, setting the feature roadmap based on his years of industry experience, interaction with customers and forecast for the future of the industry. His experience spans nearly two decades across multiple disciplines, including network security, firewall operations and network management.
Donald Klumb is a veteran CFO, drawing on 30 years of experience in financial consulting and corporate leadership to guide FireMon as it expands into new markets. He has successfully lead companies to IPO and through mergers and acquisitions. As a partner at Big 4 firm Deloitte, he worked closely with rapidly growing technology companies that gave him unique perspectives on the needs at each stage of growth.
For over 20 years, Pete has led worldwide sales teams in the Data Management and Security sectors. He defines success as a way to align a “win” for the customer, his team and his company. He has built his career around building high-performance sales organizations focused on customer-centric strategic selling, creative deal innovations and sales systems infrastructure streamlining.
Jeremy Martin is the Vice President of Engineering at FireMon, leading a group of talented engineers and fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation that has led to the development of the industry’s most scalable security management solution. Jeremy’s experience with automating business operations has directly influenced the development of automated management workflows for our customers’ complex security infrastructures.
With 15 years of experience in advertising and software support, Heather knows that if a business’s customers aren’t successful, neither is the business. As head of the Customer Success Program at FireMon, Heather ensures that her customers’ business needs are met from day one. Prior to FireMon, Heather worked in the technology group at VML, a WPP-owned marketing agency. Heather has a BA in English from the University of Missouri and is an NPS2 Certified Professional.
Tim Woods brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to his role as VP of Customer Technical Services at FireMon where he has global responsibility for the sales engineering organization. Tim’s “lead, follow or get out of the way” philosophy helped him grow his career from a Systems Engineer to leading a team of 20 engineers. As a leader, his passion is educating his engineers and clients on new and emerging technologies.
Kurt Mills runs FireMon’s global channel sales and operations division, building highly effective, solution-oriented sales programs with our global partner network. Kurt’s experience establishing and optimizing IT channel sales, distribution and strategic relationships has helped companies develop more focused, measurable programs.
David Brown is responsible for leading the FireMon field sales and business development efforts for the Central US, Western US, Caribbean and Latin America. He strives to build a culture of collaboration, execution and accountability where customer success and value drive every action.

He leans on 20 years of theoretical and practical experience in selling, architecting and deploying complex IT security infrastructures to create winning solutions for FireMon and our customers.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Sabra Sciolaro brings her cross-industry experience to focus on attracting, rewarding, training and inspiring employees, in order to create an even more engaged workforce. She leads the global HR function in providing strategic, people-related solutions and services to all business units. Sabra brings in-depth knowledge and expertise across the disciplines of human resources, including organization development, talent management and acquisition, leadership, M&A, compensation and benefits and culture.
Jeff Barker is the cofounder and Vice President of Product Management for FireMon’s security analytics platform Immediate Insight. He leverages 25 years of successes and failures in creating and developing markets, driving product strategy and leading teams in both startup and public networking and security companies to create a new breed of data analysis required to discover the unknown in today’s mobile, virtual, and cloud-enabled environments.
As General Counsel for FireMon, Larry Oleska oversees and manages FireMon’s legal leveraging more than 15 years of legal experience. Prior to FireMon, Larry served as Senior Counsel to Garmin International and spent several years in private practice with the Chicago office of Perkins Coie where he represented the firm’s technology clients.
