FireMon + Palo Alto Networks: Six New Features that Can Help You Extend Your Next-Generation Security Capabilities

FireMon has committed to delivering advanced analysis and automation tools designed to help users streamline security operations and reduce risk with new features specifically for the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform. The integrations span FireMon’s flagship product Security Manager as well as security analytics platform Immediate Insight.

FireMon has worked closely with Palo Alto Networks over multiple years to maximize customer investment through scalable visibility and analysis, context-aware automation and more robust intelligence. These capabilities enable smooth migration to and optimization of upgraded capabilities and help close the gap between complex security infrastructure and staff available to manage it.

In three product release cycles FireMon has delivered five features unique to Palo Alto Networks users, including:

Next on the docket? Expanding on integration with FireMon’s security analytics platform Immediate Insight. Rolling out to customers now, users investigating a security event will be able to request relevant Palo Alto Networks AutoFocus™ data directly from Immediate Insight. AutoFocus is contextual threat intelligence service that enables threat analytics and hunting for security teams of all sizes and levels of sophistication. In conjunction with Immediate Insight, you can attach AutoFocus data to the real events on your network to enhance understanding and apply appropriate remediation steps.

The addition of these capabilities to our product suite would not have been possible without collaboration with the Palo Alto Networks team. Their robust Next-Generation Security Platform has made it easy for FireMon to support and innovate with, and we look forward to continuing these exciting efforts and the opportunity to drive joint value for our customers.
