For FireMon, the Channel Is as Important as Ever
It’s always exciting to hear that FireMon’s Ignite Partner Program is recognized from outside industry experts.
In building an award winning program, the FireMon team and I have had many starts and stops along the way to success. Last year, about 20% of the total new to FireMon business was identified and closed with our channel partners.
Our channel partnerships have been central to our growth. To honor that, we have evolved our program each year to enable our partners not only meet their own goals but to also create solutions that meet their customers’ goals.
In 2016, the evolution continues with additional focus on:
- Sales Enablement – Targeted e-learning modules to enable Channel Sales Representatives
- Expanded Channel Engineer certifications
- Incentives for successfully executing Partner Business Planning
- Continued investment in lead generation and marketing programs
The fundamentals of a successful channel relationship are great products that deliver what the market demands, a great team consisting of partners, channel managers and field sales, and consistently exceeding expectations.
