OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – July 7, 2016 – FireMon today announced the security management and risk assessment software firm achieved record year-over-year growth in both revenue and bookings in Q2 2016 and significant sequential bookings growth. The success saw the addition of many new customers, commitment to the security analytics solution, Immediate Insight, and a record number of first half deals in excess of $100,000.
Security analytics has become a C-level topic and FireMon is leading the way with customers managing the largest and most complex networks in the world implementing our software as a solution.

As further proof of its strong market position, FireMon achieved a substantial increase in add-on customer bookings and double digit growth in North America, APAC and EMEA in the first half of 2016 compared to the prior year period. In addition to bookings success, the first half of the year was also marked with new product innovations, highlighted by the release of the first phase of policy automation with Cisco Syntax generation seamlessly integrated with Policy Planner and rapid and advanced integration with ServiceNow.
Additionally, in early Q2, FireMon added industry sales veterans David Brown and Simon Taylor to the team to lead sales efforts in the West and East/Canada/LTAM sectors of North America, respectively. Brown and Taylor have both successfully built and led enterprise sales teams at companies such as CommVault, Symantec, ProofPoint and CA.
