Gary Fish
Chief Executive Officer
Gary Fish is founder and CEO of FireMon LLC., headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, and of FishNet Security Inc., also headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. With over two decades of experience in the information technology field he is regarded as a pioneer in the information security industry. Fish has a successful track record in creating prosperous companies with the founding of FishNet Security Inc. in 1996 and FireMon in 2004. Under Fish's leadership, FishNet Security has become the largest and most successful Information Security Solutions Provider in the World.
Fish has demonstrated his strengths as an entrepreneur and leader through organic growth, acquisitions, and fundraising activities. Fish has successfully acquired multiple competitors within the information security market and has successfully integrated them into both FishNet Security and FireMon. An industry recognized leader, Fish successfully raised $350 million dollars in private placements from three private equity firms.
Fish actively serves on the boards for numerous national and global technology companies and actively participates as an Angel Investor and advisor to growth stage entrepreneurial companies. In 1999, he was named as one of the Top 25 Executives for the new millennium in computer-related fields. In 2001, Ernst & Young honored him as the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and in 2010 Fish was named a Security Superstar by CRN.
Fish holds a degree in electronics from DeVry University and is certified in many areas of technology and business. He also served in the Army and National Guard.
Jody Brazil
President and Chief Technology Officer
As Founder and CTO of FireMon, Jody Brazil is a seasoned entrepreneur with more than two decades of executive management experience and deep domain expertise in all aspects of networking, including network security design, network security assessment, and security product implementation.
Before joining FireMon in 2004, Brazil spent eight years at FishNet Security, serving as their Chief Technology Officer, where he was responsible for providing direction for solutions to their customers. Previously, he was president and founder of Beta Technologies, a Network Services and Internet Application Development company. A few of Brazil's major accomplishments include his implementation of the first load balanced deployment of Check Point firewall software in 1997. A year later he engineered the security solution that allowed, for the first time, the transfer of criminal history data over the Internet as approved by the FBI. Brazil then released the first ever graphical firewall policy change view in 2001 and the first ever firewall rule usage analysis application in 2004.
Brazil holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Kansas State University.
Jeremy Martin
Vice President, Engineering
Jeremy Martin is Vice President of Engineering at FireMon, leading the cutting edge product development teams for Security Manager, Policy Planner and Risk Analyzer, with a continued focus on the evolution of FireMon’s current product lines, as well as introducing new products into the marketplace.
Jeremy joined FireMon in 2011, bringing with him nearly 15 years of software engineering, design and architecture experience. Prior to joining FireMon, Jeremy served as Vice President of Product Development for SOURCECORP, Inc., one of the largest pure-play business process outsourcing and software-as-a-service firms.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Kansas State University.
Alin Srivastava
Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Alin Srivastava holds deep domain expertise in IT security analysis and compliance solutions, experience in building high performance sales teams and a proven track record of generating positive revenue growth. He brings nearly two decades of security industry sales experience to FireMon.
Before joining FireMon, Srivastava directed strategic accounts at Crossbeam Systems, a company that provides enterprise and carrier-class unified threat management solutions. There he was responsible for increasing strategic account revenue with consistent sales growth. Prior to that he served at Nokia for six years where he was accountable for all business activities in the central United States region as well as Mexico. Before that he was channel manager at several leading security organizations and computer networking firms including RSA Security/Security Dynamics, Trusted Information Systems, Lantronix and Emulex.
Srivastava holds a Management Information Systems Degree and minors in Business Administration and Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.
Tim Woods
Vice President, Customer Technology Services
Tim Woods has more than two decades of experience in information security and data technology. With a proven track record of leading sales teams to success and deep domain expertise in security and technology he is a driving force of many thriving companies.
Before joining FireMon, Woods spent three years at Crossbeam Systems Inc., a company that transforms the way enterprises, service providers, and government agencies architect and deliver security service. There he was responsible for technical recruitment, and developing a top notch sales engineering team. Previously, Woods was the Security Engineer manager for Nokia Enterprise Solutions, where he managed the pre-sales technical resources and led a team of sales engineers supporting security and mobile enterprise sales. He spent ten years at Intrusion.com where he managed and supervised all aspects of technical personnel selection and department administration. Woods enjoys educating people on new and emerging technologies and has been a technical presenter and corporate speaker for seminars, technology conferences and sponsored events.
Woods proudly served 8 years in the Naval Intelligence community and attended the University of Maryland majoring in Information Systems.
Todd DeBell
Vice President, North American Channel Sales
Todd DeBell has a proven track record in emerging technology leading sales and channel sales teams to new markets, and developing IT channels. He brings nearly two decades of emerging IT channels business industry sales experience to FireMon.
Before joining FireMon, Todd led a North American channels team focused on security and enterprise storage at GE Access (now Avnet, Inc.), a software channel team at Arrow Electronics and held regional sales and distribution roles for Motorola Solutions and Verizon.
DeBell graduated with a BA in Management from the University of Phoenix and attended executive course work at the University of Chicago business school.
Al Nieves
Vice-President, Federal Sales
Al Nieves brings more than 20 years of professional industry sales experience to FireMon, focused primarily on the Federal Civilian, DoD and Intel markets.
Before joining FireMon he served as the Director of Federal Sales for Guidance Software and oversaw rapid growth of its digital forensics, cybersecurity and e-discovery solutions during his eight year assignment. Prior to Guidance Nieves led Federal sales for E-NET and dramatically grew their disaster recovery, business continuity and database replication business. Previously, Nieves held several key sales and business development positions at leading companies including Computer Associates, HCL Technologies, and Zitel.
Nieves studied Computer Science at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN
Steve Martinez
Vice President, International Sales
Steve Martinez leads Strategic and International Accounts management for FireMon and has been a key contributor to the company's overall strategy and direction since 2002.
With a successful track record in technology sales throughout the U.S. and EMEA markets, Martinez brings 15 years of experience in large account management and business development.
Before joining FireMon, Martinez was a managing partner at RazorLine Technologies, a Value Added Reseller (VAR) that provided best-of-breed technologies and services to businesses throughout the Midwest for three years. As a security entrepreneur, he was responsible for all customer-facing activities including sales, and pre- and post-sales support. Prior to RazorLine, he served at IntelliMark for more than four years, where his tenure was marked with double- and triple-digit annual revenue gains and profit achievement.
Martinez holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas.
Jerry Skurla
Vice President, Marketing
Jerry Skurla brings over 20 years of corporate, product and channel marketing experience at high growth security and networking organizations to the FireMon team. He is responsible for growing global awareness and preference and building the FireMon brand.
Prior to FireMon Jerry served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at privately-held NitroSecurity, who grew rapidly in enterprise and government markets and earned industry recognition as a leader in the expanding security information and event management (SIEM) marketplace. NitroSecurity was acquired by McAfee in 2011.
Before NitroSecurity Skurla was Vice President of Marketing at Bradford Networks, a venture backed innovator of network access security solutions that tripled revenues and achieved a leadership position in the higher education and healthcare market sectors.
Prior to Bradford Networks, Jerry held multiple marketing executive roles during a 10 year career at Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Wellfleet Communications.
Jerry hold a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Penn State University.
F. Ward Holloway III
Vice President, Business Development
Ward Holloway brings more than 14 years of business development, sales engineering and consulting experience to FireMon from some of the leading information security and data technology companies in the world. With a proven track record of consistent revenue growth through strategic partnerships and effective sales execution, Holloway is responsible for managing and expanding FireMon's current technology partners, as well as identifying future strategic partnerships and initiatives.
Holloway joined FireMon from Crossbeam Systems, where he served as Director Global Partner Alliances. In that role, he was responsible for Crossbeam's strategic partnerships, and grew the OEM with Check Point Software to more than $30 million in revenue in the first year after the agreement was signed. Holloway joined Crossbeam in 2006 and served in executive assignments that included Director Systems Engineering Americas. Prior to joining Crossbeam, Holloway served at Check Point Software Technologies for eight years in key contributor roles including Named Accounts Senior Systems Engineer and International Technical Consultant. Holloway began his career in information security as a consultant at Global Integrity/Predictive Systems.
Holloway attended Hope College majoring in Communications.
